Maggie Wong is a visual artist based in Vancouver, BC.


Her work often investigates themes of identity, power dynamics, and representation as well as their intersections with queer subjecthood and feminism through a critical theoretical lens, and more recently, through exploring concepts of faith, religious structures, and fandom culture.

As a self-proclaimed aspiring femme fatale, she has an ongoing infatuation in fetishism, eroticism, and self-portraiture that consistently informs her work -- she also has a flair for the dramatic.


She received her BFA Honours in Visual Arts from the University of British Columbia.
Her work has been exhibited both locally and internationally.
